Because Rambox use the system defaults. I'm using the Boom software eq also. But Zoom and other apps are picking up my mic just fine. OSX I'm also having this problem, same OS. To quick-fix: I restart Slack. Restarting the app didn't fix my problems, but restarting the computer did. Sort of. Edit: Slack has confirmed that this is a known bug and they are working on the fix.
